Container transport moves Westward, like all other harbour activities in Rotterdam.
Gradually large areas will be available for other urban activities.
After the Kop van Zuid, Stadshavens is the next step, covering an area of appr. 16 km2.
Compared to the Kop van Zuid it is a huge area, many times bigger than the bombed city heart of the 2nd world war.
